Our Progress

This site is about plotting our progess. I am a lady of a certain age (wrong side of 50 now) and I have been embarking on a a pony adventure with Sparkle.

2022 was our first year undersaddle

We had lots of fun and a few firts, as well as some shows and clinics we bother went to our first pony camp which was a lot of fun.

Fun

Most of all our jouney together is about fun. Sparkle is with me for life, so there will be no pressure - it is all about having a try at things for fun and experience. There will be downs and ups and hopefully not a lot of footage for the shiteventers unite (SEU) facebook page.

Progress so far

We really have made so much progress since we have started our jouney. As well as plenty of schooling sessions, clinics and a few shows we have also had some downtime.
Sparkle has had a couple of growth spurts and I have had to rest my knee, so a little break every now and then has done us both the world of good.

So much fun

We have had so much fun in 2023. Our first proper attempt at Cross Country schooling and Sparkle is brave, I just need to let her take me. Our first solo hacks have been fantastic, we have checked out all the local bridle ways.
Of course we attended Pony Camp at The Owl House Stables again which was amazing. This will be a yearly outing from now on as we both learn so much and have so much fun in a friendly, safe and relaxed environment.
